BOSTON - Officials say an MBTA bus driver tried to avoid a parking ticket on Thursday morning when she struck a parking enforcement officer as she drove away.

Officials said Lataria Milton, 34, was eating a bagel on her empty bus, which was parked illegally and blocking traffic.
