An almost 6' snake inside Bee County home

Posted: Updated:

One bee county homeowner got the surprise of their life this weekend.

Sheriffs deputies were called to the home to remove this huge snake that was found in the bathroom vanity.

It's a roughly 5-foot long blue indigo, they are harmless to humans but will eat venomous snakes.

This hot and dry weather over the last month or so is forcing snakes to find cooler climates, like your home.

By the way, the snake was not harmed and was released back into the brush.
