Youth boxing gym opens that is free of charge to join

The Chavarria Boxing Club is open.

Boxers of all ages are welcome to come and train with one of the best boxing trainers in the State of Texas...

11 year old Alie Zayaguero said of Chavarria, "he teaches us a lot of stuff about boxing."

Mia Gonzalez who is 14 and punches like a pro. She says practice makes perfect.

Not only does coach Chavarria help you practice, he works one on one with every kid.

How much does Chavarria charge? Nothing! 

Chavarria said, "This is free. Only cost is sweat.  That's it. That's all I charge. Sweat, and to get the kids off the street. That's what it is all about. Get them off the street, get them in here, get them tired send them home do their homework and go to bed."

The gym is located on Staples Street near Laredo Street next to BL Guess Lighting.
