Lows in the 30s in the Weekend Forecast

Posted: Updated:

After our last front arrived Thursday, we've seen clear sunny skies and low humidity on this Friday. Another front is expected to arrive on Saturday, dropping temperatures even further. A freeze warning is not out of the question for our northern counties Sunday morning. Rain chances and windy conditions are expected with our next front. This strong front will arrive on Tuesday bringing us highs in the 40s and 50s and light rain.

Tonight, expect clear skies and near-freezing temperatures in our northern counties. A brief freeze may be possible in the northeastern part of the viewing area. Low of 35 degrees for Corpus.

Saturday will be cool, dry, and clear with a front arriving in the morning. Wind gusts upwards of 25 MPH are possible with the arrival of this front.l However, we will not see winds speeds anywhere near what we observed with Thursdays front. High of only 57 degrees.

Saturday night into Sunday morning will be very cold. Skies will be clear, allowing for radiational cooling. Winds will be very light out of the NE blowing at less than 10 MPH. Freezing temperatures may be recorded around the area Sunday morning. Low of 35 degrees for Corpus Christi.

Expect milder temperatures Sunday afternoon as winds become southeasterly in the afternoon. This will allow for increasing moisture and slightly warmer highs on Sunday. High of 61 degrees.

Cloud coverage will increase into Sunday night. Expect partly cloudy skies, SE winds up to 10 MPH and lows in the 40s and 50s. Low of 47 degrees.

Have a safe and happy weekend! Hope to see you Monday at 5 PM on Action 10 News!
