Store employee allegedly tied up during robbery

A terrifying ordeal for a store employee who was allegedly robbed and tied up inside his convenience store, Friday afternoon. 

It happened just before noon in the 1700 block of Van Loan Avenue. 

When officers arrived, police say, the victim told them four black men, wearing masked followed him into the store. The suspects allegedly wrestled with the owner before he got tied up and pistol-whipped in the head. 

Police are still looking for those four suspects. 

"Currently, we are looking for them right now, still vague information that we have regarding the suspects vehicle, it's a gold or silver Ford, possible Taurus," said Lt. Edward Longoria. 

The victim told police his young child was inside the business when the crime happened. The suspects got away with jewelry, cash and a weapon. 

The employee is expected to be okay.
