Good Samaritan in need of coats, blankets

Area homeless shelters are being pushed to the limit with the winter storm bringing in many more folks than they anticipated. 

At the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission, about 250 homeless people have packed the local shelter. 

Officials with the shelter say that about 100 more people than they usually see. 

The shelter has cleared out some extra space to make more room for folks to sleep.

Due to the increase of people coming into the shelter, the Good Samaritan is in need of more coats and blankets. 

If you would like to help by making a donation, you can drop off your donation at their location at 210 South Alameda.
