A rental car owner is looking for the driver that allegedly caused some pretty bad damage to his vehicle.
It happened Sunday afternoon on the 4000 block of Broughton Street.
The vehicle was a rental that belonged to Stephen Pina. "I heard the impact, it was loud, people down the street came out because you could hear it five, six houses down."
When Pina made it outside his home, he saw the black SUV take off towards McArdle Street. He claims it was a black expedition with light gray trim around the bottom.
"He tried to turn when he hit the brakes, he hit more on the driver side, bumper, so that bumper was dragging," said Pina.
According to neighbors, traffic has been pretty bad since construction started on Gollihar Street. They claim, drivers are using their street as an alternative route. "They come fast, we have seen them going 40 mph," said Veronica Gonzales.
Pina did not take out any rental insurance and will have to pay for the damages.
If you witnessed the accident, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS.
