Following a delayed start, efforts to raise the sunken replica Columbus ship "La Nina" continued Monday.
The raising of the ship was supposed to begin Saturday, but on of the two pumps being used for the operation wasn't running at capacity.
Some filters were changed out and the work resumed on Sunday after a third pump was brought in.
The La Nina replica is now floating on the water instead of sitting beneath it.
She was raised earlier today after spending at least three months at the bottom of the marina.
The Columblus Fleet Association will now be able to do a more thorough inspection of the ship to see what repairs she needs.
So far, they know the bottom hull and the deck need to be replaced and the entire ship needs a scrubbing down.
