Police need help catching a man who was caught on camera stealing cologne.

It's the Crime of the Week.

According to police on October 31, 2017, officers were called out to a store located on the 4100 block of Ayers Street.

The video shows the man walking into the store and then walking out of the store.

The clerk told officers, the man claimed he wanted to purchase two bottles of cologne.

According to Captain Monica Rios with the Nueces County Sheriff's Office, " The clerk went to the lock box, grabbed the two bottles of cologne and took them to the cashier until the suspect was ready to pay. While she was helping another costumer, the suspect went to the cashier's station grabbed the two bottles of cologne and exited the store without paying for them."

The cologne was worth more than a $100.

If the man is caught, he will face theft charges.
