Curve in the road sends teenage driver into ditch

Posted: Updated:

A teenage driver ended up in a ditch this morning on Laguna Shores Road.

According to police, a 16-year-old boy was driving north on Laguna Shores when he lost control of his car and over corrected.

The car flipped over once and landed on its roof.

The boy was taken to the hospital with a minor head injury.

Police say that speed was not a factor in the accident, but that the boy simply lost control during a curve in the road.
