CCPD: Fatal crash claims three lives

(9:45 a.m. Update) The Nueces County Medical Examiner has identified the victims as 29-year-old Joshua DelBosque, 59-year-old Tamara Kindred and 16-year-old Aujuni Anderson. All were residents of Corpus Christi.

(12:14 a.m. Update) CCPD investigators confirmed a third person died on the way to the hospital.

(12:02 a.m. Update) CCPD Police confirm two drivers were killed in a crash. Another person was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Corpus Christi police officers were called out to a gruesome crash just before midnight.

The crash happened around 11:20 p.m. Sunday night at the intersection of S.P.I.D. and Kostoryz Road.

According to witnesses at the scene, they saw a car with significant damage inside of a business parking lot. Police later found another vehicle that was involved in the crash.

Police are shutting down traffic near the intersection as they continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

Ambulances were also called out to the scene of the collision. However, it's not known how many victims need to be transported to the hospital.
