NUECES COUNTY -

Police are still looking for the man who robbed a restaurant earlier this week.

It's the Crime of the Week.

Police have just released surveillance video from the armed robbery that happened back on October 29, 2017.

The man is accused of robbing the China Garden Restaurant located on the 4100 block of South Padre Island Drive.

Detectives say he was armed with a handgun when he demanded money.

The man was able to get away with $200 cash.

He was last seen leaving the restaurant on foot.

According to Corpus Christi Police Officer Gena Pena, "At this point we have not connected him to any other crimes. Because he brandished a handgun ad he did make threats to the employees, we are fearful that if he has not done it in the past. He will continue this kind of offense."

The male is described as an adult male about 20-30 years of age, approximately 5'06"-5'09", weighing about 160-170lbs, and wore a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

If the man is caught, he will be charged with aggravated robbery.

If you can identify man, or have any additional information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS.

Crime Stoppers guarantees to keep your identity secret and if the information leads to an arrest, it could earn you up to $2,500 dollars in cash.
