CORPUS CHRISTI -

A 3-year-old girl who was severely burned in a barbecue pit accident in her backyard is finally coming home tomorrow.

For the past two months, Bella Ybanez has been undergoing treatment and surgeries at the Shriners Hospital burn unit up in Galveston, TX.

Bella and her 4-year-old brother Isaiah were accidentally burned by a barbecue pit after they managed to get out their home on the 4800 block of Prescott near Trojan Dr. back in early August.

Isaiah only sustained minor injuries to his face and head, but his sister Bella suffered severe burns over 70 percent of her body.

During Bella's stay at Shriners Hospital, Kechi, one of the most memorable contestants on this season' America's Got Talent, and a burn victim herself, reached out to Bella's family to provide them with support and comfort.

"If it was ok if she could come down to her room and pray over her, because she also has been a patient of Shriners and has had over a hundred surgeries," said Minnie Ybanez, Bella's mother.

Bella will return home to Corpus Christi Wednesday, October 11th, and her family says they are planning a belated birthday party for her this Thursday, October 12th.
