Police issue warrant for pawn shop robbery suspect

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI -

Police have issued a warrant for a man believed to be in connection with a pawn shop robbery.

34-year-old Adam Lee Rodriguez is wanted for an aggravated robbery that happened last Wednesday, October 4th at a pawn shop in the 3700 block of Baldwin.

Police also want to question Rodriguez about another pawn shop robbery that happened Sunday afternoon at the First Cash Pawn Shop located in the Woodlawn Plaza Shopping Center at 3775 Leopard Street.

In that robbery, police say a male suspect walked into the shop and asked to see some gold jewelry, then pulled out a gun and ordered the employee to hand it over.

The suspect then took off running on foot and is still at large. Police believe the suspect is Rodriguez and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

Rodriguez is described as a tall slender Hispanic male standing 6"2 in height, weighs around 170 pounds and has several tattoos.

Police are asking for help from the public in locating Rodriguez.  If you know of his whereabouts, you can call CCPD at 886-2600.

You can also call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS or submit a tip online at 888tips.com.  You will remain anonymous, and if the information you provide leads to an arrest it could earn you a cash reward.
