Corpus Christi Police Officers are searching for a gunman who shot a person twice in a parking lot at Greenwood and SPID.
The shooting happened just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Officers say there was some sort of verbal altercation before five or six shots were fired, striking the victim twice, once in the leg and once in the chest. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for multiple gunshot wounds. There is no update on his condition at this time.
Officers are looking for a Hispanic male driving a black SUV. At the time of the shooting, officers say the gunman was wearing a red shirt and black shorts.
Investigators are also going through surveillance footage from cameras near the crime scene and say they are confident they will find the shooter.
