'Rebuild Texas Fund' awards $2.1M to area school districts for Harvey recovery

Efforts to rebuilding areas affected by Hurricane Harvey in the Coastal Bend are still underway.

Area school districts ravaged by the storm are receiving funds to help to the cost of rebuilding. 

The "Rebuild Texas Fund" has awarded just over $2.1 million dollars to support the Harvey recovery efforts. 

Area school districts including Aransas County, Ingleside I.S.D., Port Aransas and Taft I.S.D. education foundations will receive $200,000 to help with their Harvey rebuilding and recovery efforts.
