A just opened FEMA disaster recovery center in Corpus Christi that closed Wednesday due to weather, is now open once again.
The recovery center, set up under tents in the parking lot of La Palmera, opened to the public on Tuesday. However, some of their tents were blown over when rain storms moved through the area on Wednesday, causing them to temporarily suspend services.
Representatives said everything has been fixed up and the center is once again open.
They announced the center would be open by 1 p.m. today, but were up and running by 11 a.m. to serve those in the area.
The center is located between Penney's and the Firestone Shop.
