Increasing number of jellyfish wash ashore

If you have plans to head out to the beach anytime soon, be sure to pay attention to where you're walking. 

This week there has been a rise in the number of jellyfish spotted along local beaches. 

According to experts, this isn't an uncommon site after hurricanes because nutrients gather on the shoreline, making it a perfect ground for jellyfish to grow. 

The moon jellyfish that have mainly been seen on the beaches are basically harmless, but they can hit you with a sting will leave you itching.
