Taco Facts
Did you know... while there is some debate over when, exactly, the first taco was created most experts believe it was actually invented somewhere between 1,000 and 500 B-C.

Tacos first came to America thanks to... San Antonio! It happened in 1905 because Mexicans were starting to move into the United States thanks to the San Antonio Chili Queen. They opened their own stand in the city, and the rest is history!

The largest carnitas taco ever made was constructed on November 20, 2011 in Mexico. Coming in at 246 feet long the taco was made with 330 pounds of pork, 700 tortillas, 1,100 pounds of tomatoes and more than 600 pounds of onion and 44 pounds of cilantro.

That's a wrap!
