DPS Troopers are on the hunt for a driver accused of causing a deadly accident.
According to DPS Troopers, the accident occurred Monday on FM 70 near Bishop.
Troopers say the driver of a blue Ford truck was driving at a high rate of speed and passing vehicles along FM 70.
According to DPS Troopers, the driver of the Ford pulled in front of a Toyota Tacoma, causing the driver of the Tacoma to hit their brakes and lose control of the vehicle.
The loss of control resulted in the driver of the Tacoma crashing head on into an SUV, killing the driver of the Tacoma.
The driver of the Tacoma has been identified as 26-year-old Rolando Maynor Alvarez-Carrera, a resident of Guatemala Central America.
DPS Troopers say the driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital with injuries, but did not release any details on their condition.
According to DPS Troopers, the driver of the blue Ford truck fled the scene following the crash. The blue Ford truck is described as having a lift and a Texas A&M Kingsville sticker on it's bumper.
