Local judges wear pink to honor fight against breast cancer

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI -

It's October, which means it's that time of year where judges are trading in their black robes for pink ones.

Monday, judges were handing out breast cancer awareness stickers to people who were showing up for jury duty at the Nueces County Courthouse.

Judges dressed in pink robes and pink ties in honor of the fight against breast cancer.

The month of October is "Breast Cancer Awareness" month.

This is the seventh consecutive year that local judges have participated in dressing in pink to honor the fight against breast cancer.
