Posted: Updated:

CORPUS CHRISTI - Joseph Bolanos, 17, was arrested early Monday morning after allegedly breaking into King High School. Police reports indicate the man was caught in the act.

According to Corpus Christi Police Officers the suspect was running around inside the school stealing from offices and rooms.

Action 10 News was told officers caught the man exiting a building near the gym.

Police say while the man was being arrested he spit on an officer.

He is charged with evading, failure to identify, harassment of a peace officer and burglary.

We are working to clarity whether or not Bolanos is a current or former student of King High School and the extent of the burglary.
