The USDA and the Coastal Bend Food Bank are kicking off a pantry program to help feed the thousands of Hurricane Harvey's victims.
Beginning today, people who were displaced by Harvey, or who have been without power for an extended period of time, can visit the Coastal Bend Food Bank at 826 Krill St. for free food packages. It's part of a program called Feeding Texas. Distribution times will be from 10 a.m. To 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Other distribution points are also being set up in Rockport, Gregory, Beeville and Kingsville.
