Miller football stuns King

Posted: Updated:

In two weeks, Miller football has already surpassed all expectations. The Bucs last season record of 1-9 seems like a distant memories in Week 2 of high school action. The team had not beat Carroll since 2001, they did that in an overtime stunner to open up the 2017-2018 season. They had not beat King since 2002 and did that in their second non-conference game. Athletic Coordinator for Miller Justen Evans just recently joined the Bucs, and has had quite the career in a short amount of time. From Moody to King, to Alice to Miller, he has always made his presence known on any Coastal Bend football field.  He told Action 10 Sports he just wants his kids to take pride in the way they carry themselves on and off the field...so far, so good.
