Investigators go over truck that ran over storm victims
ARANSAS PASS -
Dozens of victims of Hurricane Harvey standing in line for disaster assistance found themselves in another kind of danger as a truck plowed into the crowd.
It happened in Aransas Pass, where residents were lined up at a disaster relief center set up in the parking lot of a local shopping center. Without warning, a truck careened into the crowd, forcing the storm victims to run for cover. At least three were reported injured but thankfully, there were no deaths.
Police arrested the truck's driver, identified as Elizabeth Gray, 50. Investigators said they believe Gray had recently used heroin before the crash. She remains in custody on three counts of intoxication assault charges.
