Weekend beach plans are back on the table if you're looking for some fun in the sun.
The Padre Island National Seashore has reopened to traffic.
Thursday, the PINS beaches were off limits to drivers due to the high tides and flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Franklin.
The flooding brought water all the way up to the sand dunes.
Park Officials are advising that even though the beach is driveable to still use precaution because of the wet sand.
If you are planning on driving on the beach, park officials do recommend using a four wheel drive.
