Perfect scores top Tuesday's edition of the Kitchen Cops Report.

Sweet Bee's Frozen Yogurt located at 6917 Staples scored a 100.

Subway located at 5127 Weber scored a 100.

Hula Peach located at 3823 Staples scored a 100.

Earning a spot on the A-list with a 99 is the Whataburger located at 14301 South Padre Island Drive.

Whataburger located at 4510 Leopard scored a 97.

Ara's Euro-Fusion Restaurant located at 6917 Staples scored a 97.

Popeye's located at 13613 Northwest Boulevard scored a 96.

Hoegemeyers Barbeque located at 711 Concrete scored a 96.

Sonic Drive-Inn located at 14401 South Padre Island Drive scored a 96.

Taqueria La Cabana located at 10669 Leopard scored a 96.

Tona's Taqueria located at 2561 Agnes scored a 95.

Boat N Net located at 3808 Staples scored a 92.

Jack In The Box located at 10602 IH 37 Access scored a 91.

Hu-Dat located at 14017 Northwest Boulevard scored a 90.

Dropping down to the B-list with an 89 is Dos Comales Restaurant located at 227 North Water Street.

Violations included raw chicken stored above fish or beef fajitas, a dirty ice machine and the lid needed to be replaced, no thermometers, roaches, gnats, employee drink cups needed lids and knives were stored between equipment.

Frankie's Kitchen located at 717 Tarpon scored an 88.

Health inspectors found a cutting board left unclean after use in the BBQ pit area, items stored in the BBQ pit area needed to covered and labeled, a knife was stored in the hand sink, dirty wares left after use in the BBQ pit area, flies, the BBQ pit was not properly screened and the 
ladies restroom requires a covered trash can.

La Isla Mexicana Restaurant located at 14237 South Padre Island Drive scored an 87.

The restaurant lost points because a scoop for chips was being stored in the hand sink, bowls were used instead of scoops to remove items from bulk storage and dirty plate on shelf available for use.

Other violations included bulk rice stored in an open bag, uncovered items were stored in the walk in, staff need to wash their hands, staff were prepping food without a current food handler permit, items stored in the walk in needed to be labeled, employees were not wearing hair restraints, wiping cloths were not stored properly and wares were stored on the floor.

    Irma Luna lives in a  home on Washington Ave in Robstown. She takes pride in her home, but the house across the street and next door are owned by the same couple, who appear to be hoarders and Luna says they are living in filthy and unhealthy conditions.
