Police investigate possible self-inflicted shooting

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI -

Cops say they are looking into a shooting where a female victim may have shot herself.

A single gun shot rang out Sunday night around 8:45 p.m. at the Stripes convenience store off of S.P.I.D. and Airline Road.

Police say it appears that a woman may have shot herself inside a car. That car fled the location and went to Bay Area Hospital where police went to gather additional information from witnesses.

Police are still looking into if the female shot herself or not.

The woman's medical condition is not known at this time.

No word as of yet if anyone will be facing charges.
