Flash flood kills four people, dozens missing

Payson, AZ- Rescue workers are trying to find over a dozen people after a flash flood swept through a camp site and killed at least four people.

The incident happened at a popular swimming area inside the Tonto National Forest in central Arizona.

According to Gila County Sheriff's Office, at approximately 3:19 p.m. Saturday received a 9-1-1 call regarding a Search and Rescue Operation around the Cold Springs Swimming Hole after heavy rain caused a flash flood.

Three bodies were recovered Saturday and another was found Sunday morning.

One of the victims was a two-year-old child.
