State Rep. Todd Hunter's office fire remains under investigation

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI -

The Texas Rangers and the State Fire Marshal's Office are still investigating a fire that damaged the Bay Area complex on Staples that houses one of State Representative Todd Hunter's offices.

Action 10 has been told that tenants will not be allowed back into any of the offices at the complex to go through everything with an insurance adjuster until Monday.

State Rep. Todd Hunter isn't the only one who's office sustained damage from the fire.

The non-profit group Majesty Outdoors lost everything in the fire.

Majesty Outdoors sets up mentoring chapters for fatherless children in local churches and youth organizations.

Most of the damage was done in an office area where the organization kept all their equipment and computers.

In the meantime, the organization is looking for help and another space to relocate.

Majesty Outdoors says their estimated loss in damages from the fire is more than $20,000 in equipment.

Anyone with information about this alleged crime is asked to contact 1-877-4FIRE45.
