CORPUS CHRISTI -

A southside fire that damaged the offices of Representative Todd Hunter is now believed to have been intentionally set, according to officials.

In a press release, Corpus Christi Fire Department said an investigation yielded evidence that a fire in the 5900 block of S. Staples was intentionally set. That fire damaged Representative Todd Hunter's Corpus Christi office.

The fire badly damaged Hunter's offices as well as other businesses in its business plaza last Sunday.

Now, Texas Rangers and the Department of Public Safety's Crime Unit are investigating.
