Ennis Joslin speeding complaints

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI -

Police had their hands full this morning pulling over several speeding drivers on Ennis Joslin.

One motorcycle officer that set up on Nile around 8 a.m. says he pulled over 21 drivers in less than an hour.

The officer says that out of all the drivers pulled over, eight of them were given speeding tickets.

Police say many of the drivers pulled over are students rushing to make it to class on time at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Officers Larry Lopez says, "Basically leave earlier, I mean, manage your time a little better, leave earlier. Rather you get to class than get in an accident."

Officer Lopez tells us that about half of the drivers he pulled over were students that were late for class, and the rest were running late for work.
