CCISD employees personal info leaked in security breach

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI -

A security breach in the CCISD school system has leaked several staff members personal information.

The district sent out letters to employees notifying them that hackers may have their personal information.

According to the district, several employees names and social security numbers were made public on a website by the Texas Association of School Boards.

CCISD says there have been no reports of anyone being victimized.

Action 10 has been told that several other districts have been affected as well.

The TASB is providing free credit monitoring for any employee who wants it.
