CORPUS CHRISTI -

Police are on the hunt for a man accused of stabbing of a Good Samaritan.

CCPD issued an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Juan Antonio Sanchez, who is also facing aggravated robbery charges.

The stabbing happened a couple of weeks ago outside the Lowes Home Improvement store located on Airline.

Police believe Sanchez stabbed a man who tried to stop him and another alleged shoplifter.

Police say the victim was stabbed several times and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

According to police, the victim is still in the hospital but have not released any details on his current condition.

CCPD has released surveillance images of the suspects including one that shows a man they believe is Sanchez.

Police say a second warrant may be issued in the case.

If you know where Sanchez is and can help police find him, call CCPD at 886-2600.
