A company's unique name is grabbing people's attention. The company is called Sometime's Spouse but it's not what your thinking.
"We are a handy man and household service and rent out husbands and wives," said Christy Ogle, CEO, Sometimes Spouse.
The rent-a-husband's take care of the yard work and home repairs. The rent-a-wives take care of the maid services, pet sitting and household cleaning.
Sometimes Spouse opened in Corpus Christi about six weeks ago. The franchise owners, Sterling and Clay Hepburn say the business is quickly picking up.
"It's a very unique business model, I love that it's the handy man work and the cleaning work together," said Sterling Hepburn.
Sometimes Spouse was started by Christy Ogle, her husband and best friend over dinner in Waco, Texas. In four years, the business has expanded to over 40 franchises.
What makes this business different from a maid service? The owner says, they put family first and every husband and wife undergoes a background check, they are insured and trained.
