CORPUS CHRISTI -

High school Seniors and Kindergarten students at Tuloso-Midway High School took part in a special tradition.

It's called "The Walk of Inspiration," where Graduating Seniors and Kindergarten graduates walk together through the hallways of their old elementary school for a chance to reflect on their educational journey.

"It's great, it's really special, it's like the best day ever," said Sadie Roden. For other's like Raul Salinas, it was a time to reflect on the past. "I imagined whenever I was younger, and what I was doing, and going through these halls and walking and reading books," said Salinas.

The Seniors were welcomed by the staff from Tuloso-Midway Primary School with signs, high-fives and lot's of cheers.

Faculty says, it's important because it's a way to inspire the younger generation. "This is the reason why we do it, we want them to be able to see that this is going to be their end goal is to graduate," said Delia Barrera.

The Kinder and Senior graduates were in cap and gown attire. The Seniors graduated Kindergarten in 2005. Many of their teachers were still there.
