The Nueces County Veterans Affairs office is going mobile and hitting the streets.
Over the next three days, the mobile office will the road to provide a variety of services to veterans.
Just in Nueces County alone, there are around 31,000 veterans.
The purpose of the mobile unit is to provide these services to veterans who live out in rural areas.
Nueces County Veterans Service Officer Martin Longoria tells us, "Sometimes people that live out in the rural areas aren't aware of what services are available to them so this our opportunity to reach out to them and say you're entitled to this, you earned these benefits so might as well utilize them if you have the opportunity."
Here's where you can find the mobile over the next three days:
The mobile unit will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
