Police are always out keeping our roads safe with patrols and radar guns, but now they've taken utilizing social media in a unique way.
CCPD has dubbed it's speeding and aggressive driving crackdowns as "GeoCatching."
That's a play on the popular social media based scavenger hunt known as "geocaching."
How does it work? The police department's version sends out longitude and latitude coordinates that tell you where police will be set up to catch speeding and aggressive drivers.
The department says they will continue to look for ways to alert the public about their traffic enforcement operations.
