There's plenty to do this weekend from checking out some cool sand sculptures to chilling out to some great music.

If you have an aspiring little engineer at home, bring him or her out to the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History this Saturday from 10-5 PM for Flint Hills Engineering Day! 

Your kiddos will get the chance to meet some real engineers from Flint Hills and learn about all the exciting equipment used at our local refineries.

Flint Hills engineers will have activities and demonstrations around the museum sure to keep the kids entertained all day. 

If you're looking for more family friendly fun on Saturday, why not check out Pops in the Park at Whataburger Field.

Its a family friendly event that combines music, a synchronized light show on our iconic Harbor Bridge, and a magnificent fireworks display.

There will be a kids fun zone with an instrument petting zoo and more fun activities for the kiddos.

Joint Venture Sandwich shop is celebrating their big move to their new location and they're celebrating with a party for the public!

Join them this weekend at their new location at 6355 SPID this Saturday from 11 am-7 pm for a grand opening party.

There will be glassblowers from all over the state demonstrating their craft, live music, local vendors, and of course, lots of delicious food! ?

Last but certainly not least, it's time for Sandfest! It's kicking off this Friday and happening through Sunday on the beach in Port Aransas.

Master sculptors from all over have traveled to port a to make some of the most impressive sand sculptures you've ever seen.
