Janis Hanks showed us pictures of tile work done in a bathroom of her home on Harrison.  The work was done by Ben Zepeda of CC Floors.  But Hanks' says she's not satisfied with the work.  So she called the Troubleshooters.
"I lost my temper," Hanks admitted.  "And then I decided I had some anger issues I needed to work out, so I took a hammer and took 'em down."
Hanks is referring to the tile, because when the Troubleshooters visited her home today, there wasn't any tile on the walls or floor.  And the job's not done to her satisfaction.  And now we know why !
Hanks hired Zepeda to install hardiboard, sheetrock, and ceramic tile on the shower walls and the main floor in the restroom.  Plus waterproof the shower and floor.  14-hundred dollars down.  28-hundred total.
Now, Hanks has decided to hire somebody else to do the job to her satisfaction, but first she wants a refund from Zepeda.  And not just money !
"I would also like him to replace all the tile that he bought because I since have had to go back and rebuy tile."
The Troubleshooters contacted Zepeda of CC Floors around 2;30 Monday afternoon.  He told us he was willing to give Hanks a refund.  And at 8;33 Monday night we confirmed with both parties that Zepeda gave Hanks a full refund of fourteen hundred dollars !
"If you're not going to do a decent job, you really shouldn't be paid," added Hanks.
