CCPD Spring Break arrest report

Spring break was a great time for most, but not for all. 

Police had there hands full drunk drivers, accidents, and several other violations. 

CCPD made 54 arrests for DWI during spring break.

Six of those DWI arrests were filed as felonies, and 17 of those were crash related.

    A 33-year-old resident of Corpus Christi has been ordered to federal prison following his convictions of possessing a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and receiving a misbranded drug in interstate commerce, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Abe Martinez along with Special Agent in Charge Spencer E. Morrison of the Food and Drug Administration - Office of Criminal Investigations' Kansas City Field Office. Elias Trevino Jr. pleaded guilty May 15, 2017.

    Three men have been arrested in connection to a murder over the weekend. Gilberto Sierra III was shot and killed Saturday night at a park on the 1400 block of 18th Street. Witnesses told officers there was supposed to be a fight at the park. Just before 8:30 p.m., officers say a vehicle slowly drove by and fired several shots at a group of people.  Sierra was fatally shot in the chest.  Officers arrested 22-year-old Tyler Farmer, 18-year-old James Lockhart, and 19-year-o...
