Woman killed when 18-wheeler hits SUV on side of I-20

FLOWERS, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi woman has been killed after a tractor-trailer struck one of two vehicles that had pulled over because of a flat tire on Interstate 20.
The Vicksburg Post reports 26-year-old Ashley Dancer of Belzoni died in the crash early Saturday.
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Trooper Eric Henry says an eastbound 18-wheeler struck the rear of a Ford Explorer that had pulled over to help a GMC Yukon. The impact from the semi hitting the Explorer knocked the SUV into Dancer, who was sitting on the shoulder of the highway.
Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey says she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Henry says 27-year-old Jamia Ransome of Greenville was injured and taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was sitting on the tailgate of the Yukon.
