Born and raised in Chicago, Andy remains a loyal Bears, Bulls, Cubs (sorry White Sox !), and Blackhawks fan!

Andy came to KZTV in 2007 and within just 4 months broke the story on the forced resignation of the Director of the city's Water Department. He has followed that up with several more exclusives!

Andy's emphasis is investigative and Troubleshooter stories, but he also reports on city hall, the courts, police, spot, and breaking news. He also anchors various newscasts on a fill-in basis.

Before transitioning to news, Andy was an award-winning sportscaster in cities from Miami to Los Angeles. He's covered the Super Bowl, Summer Olympics, Soccer's World Cup, MLB, NASCAR, PGA, LPGA, NHL, NBA , NCAA's March Madness Basketball Tournament, and the NCAA's Div. 1 Football National Championship.

However, more than all that, Andy enjoys spending time with family in Texas and Chicago. After that, a low score after 18 holes of golf. a good book or movie, and travel are among his favorites.
