Wreath Laying Ceremony Honors Hispanic Advocate

CORPUS CHRISTI -- A wreath laying ceremony will be held in honor of Dr. Hector P Garcia.
The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. at Seaside Cemetary.
Today would have been Dr. Garcia's 99th birthday. Dr. Garcia was the founder of the American G.I. Forum and is well known for defending the civil rights of hispanics. He died in 1996 at the age of 82.
