CORPUS CHRISTI- We had another Spring-like day with highs in the 80's and even a few very light showers this morning totaling .04". Big changes are expected in our weekend weather as we undergone a significant weather pattern shift.

Our Spring-like weather will come to a grinding halt over the weekend as a cold front pushes thru south Texas and returns temperatures to below normal levels. An upper level disturbance following the front will produce some badly needed rain for the area this weekend as well. A southwesterly flow aloft keeps it cloudy for essentially all of next week and produces another opportunity for rain the latter part of next week.

Tonight expect decreasing winds patchy fog very mild and muggy and a low of 66.

Saturday the cold front arrives by noon with scattered to numerous thundershowers breezy and noticeably cooler after we reach a high of 72 around noon temperatures will dive into the 50's by early evening.

Super bowl Sunday we will have blustery conditions with occasional light rain and highs only in the 50's with a raw northerly wind.
