Waco Man Added to Most Wanted Sex Offenders List

AUSTIN - Cody James Guzman of Waco is now featured on the Texas Department of Public Safety's '10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders' list. The 26-year-old was last seen in Moody, Texas. He's wanted for sexual assault and two counts of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Guzman's criminal history includes convictions for aggravated sexual assault, indecency with a child, injury to a child and sexual performance of a child.

Authorities say Guzman is also known by the nicknames "Chuckie," "Chucky" and "Shorty." He has claimed to have worked in food service and as a landscaper and gardener, and work records indicate he once worked in the hydraulics business.

Officials are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
