Two Former Firefighters Indicted for Arson

CORPUS CHRISTI - Two former volunteer firefighters in Ingleside have been indicted on arson charges. Shane Kinney and Billy Joe Criddle are were each indicted on two counts of arson related to the fires dating back to September.

Another volunteer firefighter, Jerry Brasher, is charged with a misdemeanor for failing to report what he knew about the fires to police.

Several of those fires left firefighters with minor injuries.

Officials say the cost of the fire response and medical bills for the injured is around one million dollars.
