Two Females Found Shot At Portland Park

PORTLAND - Police are investigating a possible homicide of one person and aggravated assault of another. According to police on the scene, some park visitors found two female bodies in the grass at Violet Andrews Park on Second Ave. and Market St. at around 9:00 this morning. Both females appeared to have been shot. One of the females was pronounced dead at the scene; the other was rushed to the hospital. Both are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. Police do not have a suspect at this time.
