CORPUS CHRISTI - We have an update on this week's report about claims a woman had not been paid for work she had already performed.
Mary Fisher told us she hadn't been paid by her employer, Legacy Home Healthcare, for work she did in December.
Yesterday, we visited with her again and she showed us the check she received minutes after our story aired.
Today, Legacy's attorney's sent us a letter saying the late payment was Fisher's fault.
They say Fisher didn't submit her signed time sheet, causing the delay in issuing her paycheck.
Legacy's attorney stresses in his response, that the delay was not caused by any act or omission by Legacy - it was all caused by Fisher's actions.
We contacted Fisher today for comment. She maintains she submitted 4 signed time sheets to Legacy. She says Legacy mailed them back to her and then Fisher says she mailed them back to Legacy.
