CORPUS CHRISTI- Upper level low pressure will continue to slowly weaken and track westward across south Texas resulting in our atmosphere staying unstable thru the weekend. As a result we will have scattered showers and thundershowers with a few producing locally heavy rain while some areas will stay completely dry. Our temperatures will be hot but below normal for this time of year and the winds will be very light all weekend except near rainfall activity. The tropics continue to be quiet.
Today and Sunday expect variable sunshine light winds hot and humid in and around scattered thundershowers with a high today of 92 and 91 tomorrow.
Tonight will be tranquil with showers re-forming near the coast around daybreak and a low of 74.
Enjoy your weekend.
